Differences between Black & White Schools - Lottie Lewis

Lottie Lewis discusses the differences in the white and black schools, which she felt was primarily a difference in parenting decisions. More African Americans were kept out of school to work than white children. She talks about seasonal crops and when children would attend school. Ms. Lewis was interviewed on April 18, 2009 for the Morgan County Oral History Project.
