Revolutionary War Pension Certificate for George Campbell
This Certificate of Pension states that George Campbell served for one year in the North Carolina regiment under Colonel Polk during the Revolutionary War. Mr. Campbell was living in Morgan County in March 1833, when his pension was issued and sent to J. M. Porter, Clerk, in Madison. Mr. Campbell was to be paid forty dollars per year for his service.
